2) Approval of the minutes of:
- The Annual Parish Meeting, held on 11/05/2026
Proposed for approval by R Parke and Seconded by A Card - Unanimous
- The Annual Meeting of BARKSTON AND SYSTON PARISH COUNCIL on 11/05/2026. – TH advised that it was discussed that a review of the clerks salary should be completed at the next meeting but was not included in the minutes (agreed that this would be added – Proposed for approval with amendment T Hine and seconded by R Parke
3) Members’ Code of Conduct and disclosable pecuniary interests

4) Co-option of Councillors to Barkston and Syston Parish Council
- Vacancy 1 RP proposed V Owen which was seconded by SE – Unanimous
- Vacancy 2 SM Proposed J Burkin which was seconded by AC – Unanimous
5) Finance
- Approval of Insurance
It was agreed that the current insurance quote of £2173.50 would be accepted and paid but a comprehensive review of insured itemed and values is to be completed.
- Clerks Salary for Q1
It was agreed that the clerks salary would be increased from 3 hrs PW to 5 hrs PW WEF 21/04/2026
